How our verification process works, and the red flags that mean you should walk away from a listing.
Every listing we recommend is checked against the landlord or agency's registration, recent reviews from actual tenants, and — where possible — a video walkthrough, before we pass it along. We never ask you to wire a deposit to a landlord we haven't verified ourselves.
Common red flags worth remembering even outside our recommendations: a landlord who refuses a video call, pressure to pay the full deposit within hours 'before someone else takes it', and prices significantly below similar listings in the same building or street. If you're arranging accommodation independently, always ask for the property's registration number or agency license before sending money.
