Eligibility criteria - The Scholarship is open to Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents who Are applying for admission to SUTD’s undergraduate degree programme and have good academic standing Special consideration for those with demonstrated financial need, and also, possess good moral character and conduct Are active in Fifth Row (co-curricular activities) and community involvement Having a keen interest in Chinese culture and heritage an advantage Application process - Application for the scholarships is made at the same time as application for admission to SUTD. This scholarship may also be available mid-term. Existing students who are eligible will be invited to apply via MyPortal. Late and incomplete submissions will not be processed. Scholarships are awarded based on competition among eligible applicants, and SUTD reserves the right not to award any scholarship if there are no candidates of sufficient merit. Benefits - The Scholarship is valued at S$15,000 per academic year and is tenable for one year of study and the quantum will be used towards the annual subsidised tuition fees (after Tuition Grant). No bond is attached to the Scholarship. The recipient must take up the Tuition Grant Scheme (TGS) from the Singapore Government to enjoy subsidised fees.
