Eligibility for Westpac Research Fellowships in Australia, 2027 : The fellowships are open to Australian nationals or permanent residents. Applicants of Westpac Research Fellowships in Australia, 2026 must demonstrate academic excellence and achievements to date. The proposed research must contribute to the future of Australia in one of the Trust's priority funding areas; Australia in Asia, Thriving Tech Sector, an Inclusive Australia, and Sustainable Futures . Applicants must commence their research by 30 June 2027. You have been awarded a Ph.D. between 2020 and 2023; or have obtained an Eligibility Exemption from the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research) or equivalent at your host university. The proposed research should incorporate international experiences that will enhance your leadership abilities and expand your global networks. These experiences could include research-focused study tours, participation in short courses or conferences, internships, or volunteering opportunities. Applicant must be able to attend the National Assessment Centre to be held in Sydney on 4-5 December 2024. Documents required: Applicants must submit two letters of reference. One academic reference and one personal reference. A letter of support must be submitted by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor.
