Eligibility for Virginia Museum Of Fine Arts - Visual Arts Fellowships: The applicant must be a US national as well as a current legal resident of Virginia. The fellowship is open to Professional Artists, Graduate, and Undergraduate candidates. Professional Artists must not be degree-seeking students at the time of the application. Graduate and Undergraduate Candidates planning to be enrolled full-time at an accredited college, university, or school of the arts are considered. Exclusions: Full-time VMFA employees are not eligible. Recipients of three or more Fellowships in any category cannot apply. Documents required: Applicants are required to submit their academic transcripts. A 200-word artistic statement must be submitted. A copy of an updated CV must be provided. Applicants must prepare sample work files for submission.
