Visiting Fellowships and Travel Grants at Yale University 2027-28

Eligibility Applicants currently enrolled in Ph.D. or DPhil programs from across the country and around the world are invited to apply for the fellowship. Beinecke Library offers only a limited number of fellowships. These fellowships are highly competitive. Applicants who wish to conduct primary research for their doctoral or dissertations thesis should apply. Candidates who are keen on in-depth consultation of Beinecke materials will be considered. Documents Required Candidates must submit a detailed copy of their curriculum vitae. Applicants must write a 1200 word research proposal and detail the relationship between their research and Beinecke Collections. Candidates are required to provide a detailed list of specific research materials. Applicants must submit two confidential recommendation letters to the Beinecke Director. One recommendation letter must be from the principal director of the candidates dissertation. Candidates must submit an approved dissertation prospectus/proposal.
