Eligibility Criteria for the Thomas Jefferson Prize in United States History: Students need to be enrolled in a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Arts conjoint student, majoring in History, who achieved the highest mark in a Stage II or III level course in United States History. Students should have achieved a GPA of at least 7.00 (equivalent to an A- average). Selection Process: Nomination is made to the Scholarships Office The Prize is awarded by the University of Auckland Council on the recommendation of the Deputy Head (Academic) of the School of Humanities Application Process: Students do not need to apply for this scholarship, award, or prize or complete an online application form. It is awarded on the recommendation of the relevant faculty or University of Auckland committee.
