Applicants must have a hearing loss of 70 DB or more in the better ear (i.e., be severely deaf). The scholarship is open to students enrolling in the second or subsequent year of a Bachelor’s degree or enrolling in a Postgraduate Diploma or Postgraduate degree program. Value of Sir Roy Mckenzie AUT Deaf Scholarship at Auckland University of Technology: Each year, two stipend scholarships are granted: $3,000 scholarship for undergraduate students $5,000 scholarship for postgraduate students.
