Eligibility
Eligibility criteria - The applicants must be Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents studying full-time as second-year undergraduates of the University in any degree programme Must have achieved a pass for Term 1 and currently maintains a minimum of CGPA 4.0 per academic term from Term 2 onwards Demonstrate strong leadership, active Fifth Row activities, and community service involvement (advantageous), and have good character records Demonstrate keen interest in Chinese business and culture Application process - Existing students who are eligible will be invited to apply via MyPortal, and shortlisted applicants will be notified accordingly. Late and incomplete submissions will not be processed. Scholarships are awarded based on competition among eligible applicants. SUTD reserves the right not to award any Scholarship if there are no candidates of sufficient merit. Benefits - The Scholarship is valued at S$15,000 per academic year for up to 3 academic years and shall be applied towards the payment of tuition fees and study-related expenses, and there is no bond to be fulfilled towards the donor. *Special consideration will be given to candidates with demonstrated financial need, where Per Capita Income is at S$2,500 per month or less, or at the prevailing upper limit for monthly household Per Capita Income as specified by the Ministry of Education for the eligibility criteria for the Higher Education Bursary.
