Eligibility Criteria for School of Environment Masters Thesis Scholarship for Māori Students at University of Auckland: Applicants must be of Māori ethnicity. Applicants must be either a New Zealand citizen or a permanent resident. Applicants must be enrolled, or enrolling, in the thesis component of one of the following master's programs offered by the School of Environment at the University of Auckland: Geography Geophysics Environmental Science Environmental Management Master of Arts (MA) in Geography Master of Science (MSc) in Earth Sciences The thesis component of a master's degree with a points value of at least 90 points in a 180-point master's program from the School of Environment. If enrolled in a master's program of more than 120 points, the candidate must be enrolled in the thesis component at the time of taking up the scholarship. Applicants must have a GPA of at least 4.00 (or equivalent) in their most recent qualifying program. Value of School of Environment Masters Thesis Scholarship for Māori Students at University of Auckland: Successful applicants will receive a scholarship worth $5,000 along with coverage of compulsory fees.
