Eligibility Criteria for the Phoenix Prize for Creative Writing at the University of Auckland: Applicants must be enrolled in the Master of Creative Writing degree. The manuscript submitted for examination must demonstrate: High quality. Strong potential for commercial success. The manuscript must be submitted for examination by 31 July in the year of the award. To be considered for the prize, applicants must submit an electronic copy of their manuscript to the Selection Committee. Value of the Phoenix Prize for Creative Writing at the University of Auckland: One prize will be awarded annually and will be of the value of $3,500.
