Olivia James Traveling Fellowship at Archaeological Institute of America 2026

Eligibility for Olivia James Traveling Fellowship : Olivia James Traveling Fellowship is open to US nationals. Candidates must be members of the AIA for at least two consecutive years at the time of application. Applicants involved in dissertation research will be preferred for the Olivia James Traveling Fellowship. Candidates who received their Ph.D. within five years of the application deadline will be given preference. Applicants must not hold other major fellowships during the requested tenure of the Olivia James Award. Candidates applying for the Olivia James Traveling Fellowship are required to submit a report on the use of the stipend to the Chair of the AIA Fellowships Committee after the completion of the fellowship. Value of Olivia James Traveling Fellowship : The successful applicants for the Olivia James Traveling Fellowship will receive an award of $26,000.
