The recipient must have demonstrated the most improvement in their aggregate final mark across Part III courses from the previous year. Selection Criteria for the NZAO Award for the Most Improved Student Entering the Bachelor of Optometry Part IV at the University of Auckland: The student with the most significant improvement in their marks across Part III courses will be chosen as the recipient. In case a student is eligible for both the NZAO Robert Jacobs Award and the Most Improved Student Award, the latter will be given to the student who showed the second most improvement.
