Eligibility/Selection Criteria for MBChB First in Course Awards at University of Auckland: The selection of recipients for the awards in the different parts of the MBChB program will be based on the following criteria: Parts II and III: The award will be allocated at the end of the year to the student(s) with the highest final marks in the taught courses. Recipients must have achieved a minimum final grade of A-. If two or more students have a final percentage mark within a margin of +/- 0.5%, the award will be shared. Parts IV, V, and VI: The award will be allocated at the end of the year to the student(s) with the highest overall mark in the progress tests. Recipients must also have achieved an overall clinical distinction. If two or more students achieve the same overall mark within a margin of +/- 0.5%, the award will be shared. Value of MBChB First in Course Awards at University of Auckland: The awards will be noted on the recipients' official academic transcripts.
