Eligibility Criteria for the Mayne Wetherell Tangata Whenua ā Moana Oceana Prize at University of Auckland: The prize is available to Māori students or Pacific students. Students must be enrolled in an LLB or LLB conjoint degree. Students must have achieved the highest grade point average (GPA) across LAW 121G, LAW 131 and LAW 141. As a minimum standard, the student must have achieved a GPA of at least 7.00 (equivalent to an A- average) across the three courses. Value of the Mayne Wetherell Tangata Whenua ā Moana Oceana Prize at University of Auckland: Each year, one prize worth $1,500 will be given out. Application Process: No separate application is necessary. All eligible applicants will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
