Eligibility Criteria for LIFE Scholarship: Students must: Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen Be a South Carolina resident at the time of high school graduation and during the award period Enroll as a full-time undergraduate student pursuing a first bachelor’s degree Meet ONE of the following high school academic criteria: Minimum 3.0 GPA (on SC Uniform Grading Scale), OR Minimum 1100 SAT / 22 ACT, OR Graduate in the top 30% of high school class Maintain college renewal requirements after receiving the scholarship Value of LIFE Scholarship: Currently, the maximum value is $5,000 ($4,700 related to tuition plus $300 based on the costs of textbooks). Sophomore-, junior-, and senior-level students may receive a maximum of $7,500 provided they are in a declared major of science or mathematics and other conditions are met. Application Process: No separate application required Students are automatically evaluated by their college/university after admission.
