Eligibility Criteria : Applicant must be enrolled in a Higher Degree Research program at the university. The applicant may be admitted full-time or part-time. An International applicant must meet visa requirements specified by the Department of Home Affairs. The applicant must not be receiving an equivalent scholarship or salary providing a benefit greater than 75% of the award deemed to undertake the research program. Application Process: Interested candidates must submit an online application at the time of admission. Application Deadline: International applications: 23 May, and Domestic applications: 3 October. Value of the Scholarship: The selected candidates are awarded an annual stipend mentioned in the offer letter. Part-time award holders are entitled to the approved part-time stipend rate, which is not exempt from taxation. Full-time award holders are entitled to the stipend rate (tax-free). 2026 Stipend $36,943 p.a., non-taxable for full-time candidates. Stipends are indexed annually. Note: The award holder must submit annual progress reports to continue availing the scholarship.
