It can be applied to the Certificate or Degree programs in Guitar, Bass, Vocal, Drum, Keyboard Performance, or Music Composition (MI Select and MI Select Express programs are not eligible). The scholarship is only available to newly enrolled students. Requirements To apply, students must be accepted into a program at Musicians Institute and have submitted their Admissions Application. The scholarship amount will be divided equally across the quarters of the program, credited toward tuition for each term as long as the student maintains a 2.75 GPA. The scholarship is non-transferable and can only be applied to the specific program and start date for which it was awarded. Application Checklist Applicants need to submit: A one-page essay describing themselves and explaining why they should be considered for the scholarship, including their musical background and aspirations. YouTube URL containing three performances: two songs in different styles with an ensemble (accompanied by at least one other live musician) and one solo piece.
