Eligibility criteria for the International Graduate Commitment Scholarship: F1 students are eligible Applicants must be newly admitted graduates, non-sponsored international students enrolling at WIU for the first time. Should have a minimum 3.00 GPA (confirmed by WIU). Continuous full-time enrollment is required (Prorated to $650 per 3 SH if an immigration exemption has been awarded for the final semester). Recipients may enroll in summer school at in-state rates. Students enrolled in full-time online studies are eligible. 50% will be given out in the fall semester and 50% in the spring. Value of the Scholarship: Successful applicants of the International Graduate Commitment Scholarship will receive an award of $4,000. All WIU Scholarships have an acceptance date of August 1 for fall and January 1 for spring semester for guaranteed scholarship. Students who are admitted after August 1 will be reviewed for scholarships based on fund availability.
