Eligibility
Eligibility for GCSB Women in STEM Scholarship: The applicant must be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident. The applicant must identify as a female. The applicant must be over 18 years of age. The applicant must be in their second, or subsequent year of full-time tertiary study. (including Honours and Masters students) The applicant must have enrolled, or been accepted into a full-time degree majoring in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) at an approved NZQA accredited tertiary provider in New Zealand for the next academic year. Eligible STEM disciplines: Computer Science, Cyber Security, Technology, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, and Data Science Application Process: All eligible candidates must complete the Women in STEM Scholarship Application Form. They must submit the complete application form to scholarship@nzic.govt.nz . Value of the Scholarship: The successful candidates are awarded a one-time grant of NZD 10,000. The candidates would not be awarded more than NZD 5,000 in a year.
