Eligibility criteria for First Year Booster scholarship : Australian citizens, Australian Permanent residents, NZ citizens or holders of a Permanent Humanitarian Visa Newly-commencing students enrolled in first year units in 2025 Enrolled in an eligible undergraduate course that has a minimum duration of 2 years full-time study Have a current full-time or part-time enrolment status Complete all questions outlined in the applicant portal. Application process - Applications will be shortlisted by a representative of the VU Scholarships Office. Shortlisted applicants will then be reviewed by a panel of representatives from the VU Scholarships Office. Scholarships are subject to available funds. Value - This scholarship is valued at $2,000 for one academic year. Scholarships will be paid in two instalments, subject to satisfactory academic progression: First instalment of $1,000 after Semester 1, Block 2 census Second instalment of $1,000 after Semester 2, Block 2 census.
