Eligibility Criteria for the Dudley Freeman Prize in Photographic Practices and History at the University of Auckland: Applicants must be full-time students. Applicants must have submitted the most original, creative, and interdisciplinary research essay. For even years, applicants must have submitted an essay in ARTHIST 206 or 313 (South Asian Photography). For odd years, applicants must have submitted an essay in ARTHIST 246 or 346 (Global History of Photography). Value of the Dudley Freeman Prize in Photographic Practices and History at the University of Auckland: One prize will be awarded each year, with a value of $2,000.
