McKenzie Award: Applicants must be enrolled in an MA or PhD at Victoria University of Wellington in one of the following disciplines: English, Film and Theatre, Media Studies, Music, Information Management, History, Art History, Māori Studies, or Anthropology. Selection Criteria: The award is based on the merits of the application, with preference given to students whose research aligns with Don McKenzie’s areas of interest, including bibliography and book history, libraries and librarianship, theatre history, Renaissance and 18th-century drama, New Zealand theatre, and New Zealand music. Application Process: A completed online application must be submitted on the closing date. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted. Award: NZD 1,200. Note: Recipients must write a letter of thanks to the donor of this scholarship.
