Degree Completion Grants for International Students at Universitat Hamburg 2026

Eligibility Criteria : Applicants must be admitted to Universit&auml;t Hamburg. Applicants must identify as internationals. Applicants must not be eligible for the federal student loan scheme. Applicants must be preparing for or are in the final examination phase of their studies. Applicants must demonstrate genuine financial need (proof required). Application Process: Interested candidates must submit an online application. The application should include the following documents: CV, Reason for the application, A schedule detailing all steps leading to the final examination, Scanned copy of the bank statements: For the 1 June application deadline , bank statements from 1 March-31 May are required; For the 1 December application deadline , bank statements from 1 September-30 November are required. An evaluation from the supervisor of the final thesis. Value of the Fellowship: Selected candidates are awarded a sum ranging between EUR 200 to EUR 855 per month.
