Eligibility Criteria for DataLab/School of Geosciences Scholarships in GIS at University of Edinburgh: Be an ordinary resident in Scotland (as per Scottish Government residency rules) Have the right to live and work in the UK Have lived in Scotland for at least 3 years (not for full-time education) Apply for and receive an offer (conditional or unconditional) for the MSc GISEO program Be a new full-time student starting in 2026–2027 Meet academic requirements: UK 2:1 Honours degree (or equivalent) OR 2:2 degree + at least 3 years of relevant GIS work experience Submit a one-page personal statement Not have already started the program Not apply for part-time study Value of DataLab/School of Geosciences Scholarships in GIS at University of Edinburgh: One fully funded scholarship covering full tuition fees. Access to Data Lab training and networking events (mandatory and exclusive to Data Lab scholars). Deposit fee waived (or refunded if already paid). Application Process: Have a conditional or unconditional offer for the MSc GIS programme.
