Eligibility Criteria for Connaught International Scholarship: Be international applicants (Canadian citizens and permanent residents are not eligible). Not currently be registered in any degree program at the University of Toronto. Have received or be receiving an offer of admission to a full-time PhD program with a funding commitment starting in September of the award year. Have achieved at least an A- average in each of the last two years of full-time study. Remain an international student at the time of initial funding disbursement. Value of Connaught International Scholarship: $10,000 per year top-up funding Added to a full funding package from the graduate unit (total combined support must be at least $50,000 annually from Fall 2025 onward) Renewable for 4–5 years, depending on program length Application Process: No separate application is necessary. All eligible applicants will be automatically considered for the scholarship.
