Eligibility for the Blackburn Bursary: Candidates must be enrolled full-time or part-time in an undergraduate degree at the University of Lincoln using the Student Information System for the current academic year. Applicants must be listed in the Student Information System with a Home student status. Before the course begins, students must have been in Local Authority care and be considered a Care Leaver according to the Children Leaving Care Act 2000, which was passed five years prior. The Blackburn Bursary for the same level of study shouldn't have been awarded to students before. Value of the Bursary: The Blackburn Bursary is a set amount of GBP 1,500 paid to eligible students in two installments for each completed level of study. The first installment of GBP 500 is paid upon approval of the application following enrolment. The 2nd installment of GBP 1,000 is paid upon successful completion of the level of the program enrolled. Application Process: The Student Funding Team at the Student Support Center, which may be reached by email at studentfundingteam@lincoln.ac.uk , is the official channel via which applications for the Blackburn Bursaries must be sent.
