Be self-funded, not fully funded by an external sponsor. Be enrolled full-time or part-time in an eligible postgraduate programme. Be starting a Postgraduate Taught Masters or Postgraduate Research programme for the 2026/27 academic session. Note that external affiliate or joint-degree programmes where Glasgow was not the degree-granting institution do not qualify. Excluded programmes include holiday courses, professional development, PGDE, diploma or certificate courses, international consortium masters, and distance learning programmes. No formal application form is required; the discount is automatically applied at registration for postgraduate taught programmes. Appeals must be submitted by 31 January 2027 for the 2026/27 session. Application Process: For Postgraduate Taught programmes, the 20% tuition fee discount is automatically applied when you register. No separate application is required. For Postgraduate Research programmes, applicants should contact their Graduate School for details on processing the discount. Appeals must be submitted by 31 January 2027 for the 2026/27 session.
