Eligibility criteria for the Algoma University Dean’s Award: Applicants must be new international students entering Algoma University for the first time. Applicants must be enrolled full-time (12 credits per term over Fall/Winter). Applicants must meet minimum academic requirements: B+ average or equivalent 80–84.9% in top 6 Grade 12 U/M courses (Ontario curriculum) IB diploma score of 34–36 Applicants must provide a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) before award disbursement. Applicants must accept the award in the year it is granted (it cannot be deferred). Applicants must remain in good academic standing. Value of the Algoma University Dean’s Award: A $1,000 non-renewable entrance scholarship. Application Process: All eligible candidates are automatically assessed for the scholarship at the time of admission.
